We might mess up life, but we have Someone we can run to when things go out of control.
Is God’s awesome, pure and unfailing love an excuse for us to act recklessly, and mess around in life? No. Rather, it is God’s love that convicts us to stay and put our trust in Him. It is what changes our perspectives, and secures us in His wisdom and grace. It is this love that rescues from a life of waywardness and sin.
Telling people of God’s unconditional, true and perfect love through the death of Jesus Christ won’t lead them to sin. It brings them to the light.
It’s because we know that no matter how many times we fail, no matter how many times we sin, no matter how many times we forget, God will still love us. Jesus is still with us. And this gives us the strength to stand up again, and still walk in faith, hope and love.
Love for God is not our act. It’s not work. It’s not something you have to study about. Loving God is a fruit from the Holy Spirit. It comes out of you naturally. Beloved, when you see and believe God’s love for you, He sees your love for Him. That’s where change and breakthroughs start flowing.
